COORDINATE with the owner and architect the project’s goals and requirements including technical approaches for the project.

 

REVIEW all design criteria and establish type and capacities of equipment for upgrades and new installations.

 

PERFORM project technical tasks such as building surveys, performing appropriate calculations and preparing design concepts and sketches.

 

PREPARE mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection system drawings and specifications including coordinating with other engineering disciplines and consultants.

 

REVIEW bids and provide client with bid recommendations as required.

 

REVIEW shop drawing submittals for verification that equipment complies with design drawings and intent and for commissioning planning.

 

PERFORM onsite construction administration and provide technical direction to contractors during the construction phase.
