Testing and Commissioning
Provide commissioning authority and agent services from the design phase through the completion of construction; verify that all facility systems perform interactively in accordance with the design documentation and intent and in accordance with the owner’s operational requirements.
COMMISSIONING AUTHORITY SERVICES
PROVIDE commissioning authority services including providing technical and procedural oversight during all phases of the project.
PREPARE detailed testing and commissioning specifications and test forms and procedures for new electrical, mechanical and fire protection / plumbing systems and equipment in accordance with International Electrical Testing Association, Inc. (NETA), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and comply with the requirements of the National Electric Code.
PROVIDE integrated systems testing procedures for all mechanical / electrical / plumbing and fire protection systems as well as detailed BMS coordination and testing.
ATTEND factory acceptance testing for UPS Systems, associated low voltage switchgear and circuit breakers and emergency generator systems. Prepare factory acceptance test procedures and forms incorporating manufacturer’s procedures.
COORDINATE and direct commissioning activities in a logical, sequential and efficient manner using consistent protocols and forms, centralized documentation, clear and regular communications and consultations with all
necessary parties, frequently updated timelines and schedules and technical expertise.
ASSIST in the training provided by the equipment manufacturers, documentation, information transfer and/or
general turnover of the facility.
